Board Layout and Hazard Rules
King Hub Witness uses a 4×4 board with cells numbered 1–16 in row-major order. A fixed number of hazards are hidden among these cells. The complete hazard layout is sampled randomly and uniformly from all complete layouts that satisfy a specific constraint: at least one hazard in the eight-neighbour king graph must be adjacent to every other hazard. Other hazards do not need to be adjacent to each other.
Once a layout is chosen for a round, it remains fixed and is never redrawn. As you reveal safe cells, the pool of consistent layouts shrinks, and the conditional safety probability for each remaining cell updates exactly to reflect the new posterior.
Pricing, Quotes and Collection
Each safe cell is priced based on the exact posterior over consistent layouts. The gross value starts at 0.97 times the stake. As safe cells are revealed, the live gross quote is calculated as 0.97 times the original support count divided by the surviving support count. For the next safe reveal, divide the current multiplier by that cell’s conditional safety probability; multiply the resulting multiplier by the stake to obtain the gross coin value.
- Collection: You may collect winnings only after at least one safe pick has been revealed.
- Blocking:A click whose next gross multiplier exceeds 1,000 is rejected before reveal. The round stays active and unchanged; the cap does not disable the cell button.
- Automatic Settlement: If no uncertain cell remains after a safe pick, settlement occurs automatically.
A hazard returns zero. Known-safe cells leave the value unchanged, while proven hazards are disabled.
Stakes, Modes and Controls
The demo supports four whole stake levels: 10, 20, 50, and 100. Settings and the refill function are locked while play is active.
- Controls: You can select uncertain cells; proven-safe, proven-hazard and already revealed cells cannot be selected. Once collected, the round ends. Sound controls remain available during play.
- Stake Locking: You cannot change your stake or refill the wallet while a round is in progress.
